The Studio Rats (run by Paul Drew and James Ivey) sells digital amp presets, captures and profiles. This page explains what personal information we collect when you buy from us, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you buy from us we collect your name, email address, country and order details. Payments are processed by our store platform, Payhip, and its payment providers (Stripe and PayPal), so we never see or store your card details.

Why we use it

• To deliver your order: we use your email to send your download link, receipt and support for your purchase.
• Marketing, only if you opt in: if you tick the box at checkout, we'll email you about new presets, captures and offers. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.
• Legal records: we keep order records to meet UK tax and accounting rules.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the services needed to run the shop: Payhip (store and checkout), its payment providers, and our email provider, Mailchimp, if you've opted in to marketing. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for six years, as HMRC requires. If you unsubscribe from marketing, we stop emailing you straight away.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email us at james@jivey.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
